5. Fingertips III (Stevie Wonder)-eels (live). This is the rare example of E doing a cover and it going horribly, horribly wrong.

8. Open the Door (Magnapop cover)-eels (live)

9. Flyswatter (Polka remix)-eels

10. Manchester Girl-eels (b-side). A truly lovely song that for some reason I can’t understand was only released as a B-side.

“Manchester Girl” was originally a track on E’s second album “Broken Toy Shop.” His two solo albums are full of sunny pop that is a stark contrast to his deeper darker Eels material.

HOW CAN I GET IN ON THIS?

for the specifics but, basically:
I listen to all submissions of entire albums, not songs or compilations.
With rare exceptions I will not review material protected by the RIAA. So Sony, BMG, etc., don't start sending me crap. I'm not interested.
I don't listen to streams.
I won't read online comic-books. I may read .pdfs. I will read all hardcopy submissions.
I will review only submissions that I can recommend. I'm not here to do negative reviews.
