i work in manchester nh where these damn things were invented. the employees of this inventor ride these foolish vehicles all over the town, and you feel like you’re the only one not riding one. like i havent “evolved” yet. They actually ride them into buildings and into elevators with you…
They fly down sidewalks and everyone has to jump out of the way. I was at the ocean in maine last week and two dorks were hand in hand riding their segways together down the beach at sunset. ridiculous!
Cool! We already have cops on bicycles, so why not cops on Segways? They could patrol the public parks, beaches, and town squares and keep us safe. One cop could cover a wide area with these fast moving, yet versatile gizmos. They would have to get cheaper, though.

WHAT THE HELL IS BERKELEY PLACE?"Berkeley Place" has been a blog since 2000.
Berkeley Place is also 6 blocks of Brooklyn real estate, emerging from Sackett St. and ending at Banana Hill, a small park that grows a foot each year from dog shit and the corpses of dead rats. Though its residents have gotten wealthier over the decades, Berkeley Place still houses folks of all backgrounds with interests in, well, everything.
WHAT THE HELL GOES ON HERE?Ekko reviews independent music, comic books, and whatever else interests him.
WHAT THE HELL IS INDIE MUSIC?An independent record label (or indie record label) is a record label operating without the funding of or outside the organizations of the major record labels.
