Berkeley Place was one of the first blogs I read (I got a little lost after you moved from Blogger the first time, but still…) – it would be a shame to stop after this long in the game and let them win. If you are done, so be it. If you are just not techie enough to move to wordpress.org – I’ll move it for you (should only take an hour or so)

i’d hate to see you go, too. Your site is my first stop pretty much ever day at work when i go through my daily music blogs. You do excellent work, sir. You certainly would be missed.
i, however, have no techie skill whatsoever. If it would help the process, though, i’ll gladly sacrifice a goat and light some candles (which is what i usually do when faced w/ techie issues).

appreciate your kind words, but would you come to my site if all I did was review truly indie albums, and didn’t offer things like the A to Z posts, which are always the ones that seem to get deleted? ‘Cause if not, there’s no point in my keeping going. That’s the direction I’ve always been going in.

Ananymous should change his name to anonymasshole. I never see you post songs by big bands, so I dont’ even understand why they’re coming after you. Places like smoking sessions publish links to entire freaking albums.

PLEASE DON’T STOP!!! I’ll pay for your own domain name, just to get you off wordpress.com, and I’ll even volunteer to get your blog working on a shared server. Yeah, it’ll cost you about $5-10 every month, but you’ll have all the freedom you need.

Truly, your music blog was my favorite of all the ones I regularly visit. Your take on things, the covers, the A-Z posts have added mightily to my knowledge of music and artists. Such discoveries have led to purchasing some CDs I would not have otherwise. Plus, you posted the strangest pictures,and I looked forward to seeing your latest oddball picture form the net.

I truly appreciate all of your kind comments. I don't really see how moving off of blogger will help. I will still get ridiculous C&Ds. There's no real way around the fact that the world is becoming hostile. For now, I think I will stay where I am, having moved twice in the past 5 years, the problems pursue me. I'm going to go increasingly independent, though, which means less A to Z posts. If my traffic drops a lot because of it, I will probably just close up shop.
So if you all can try to get more people who love independent music to become aware of BP, it would go a long way.
Again, thanks for your kind words. I truly love what I do, but I don't love pissing people off.
