The Gaslight Anthem’s “59 Sound” is the sixth-best album of the year this year, as you’ll see when I publish my list (I’m still working on the bottom 10). But in anticipation and celebration, here’s a fantastic, high-quality live show from August. They do mostly the new album, and throw in a few covers and songs from their first release as well.
Tastes and a zip. Enjoy.

This set is great. The Joe Strummer tribute with the Stand By Me intro is particularly sweet.

Thanks for this post! I just discovered this band, and I am kicking myself for missing their show in the area a couple months ago. It’s nice to have an idea of what I can look forward to when I finally do hear ‘em.
