  2. Pretty good list, but aside from “Creator” and “Shove It”, Santogold is pretty much a pop album.

  3. Black Mountain is a great band … southern they’re not, unless you consider gastown to be southern BC,Canada. But you’ve given me lots of new stuff to look for. But your first choice kicks ass. Its great. Check out Los Campesinos for more drunken scots…

  4. Actually, Black Mountain calls THEMSELVES southern rockers. It’s the sound, not the place of origin.

    As for Los Campesinos, I really liked their EP, but their album didn’t have enough in it for me to go wild enough for a best-of-08 entry.
