Nothing but good words for this album. Perhaps I'm biased since I've been blessed to listen to Avid's production for a while now, as well as Jay Love's talent. One thing is for sure, the production of this album is one of the best I've come across over the 15 years of listening to true hip hop. The sounds are so clean and sooth the ear...anyone enjoying that classic hip hop flare (like it once was in the 90s) should pick up a copy of this album and show some love.

Props for reviewing this, it's a great hip hop album, but you got a few facts wrong but I ain't mad at ya because I don't expect everyone to be a hip hop know-it-all. Poison Pen is not Chino XL's DJ, he is a NYC underground rapper that has been around for years and he is best known as Immortal Technique's hypeman. "Poison Pen" was the name of one of Chino XL's albums and had nothing to do with the rapper Poison Pen. The "J-Love" you think of on here as being the Queens mixtape guy is actually a different guy named Jay Love who is Avid Record Collector's homeboy. And really... like I said I can't knock you for not knowing, but shame on you for listing Wordsworth and Celph Titled as "lesser known" artists. Wordsworth is a Lyricist Lounge legend and is in a group with Masta Ace called EMC. Celph Titled.. wow I don't even know where to start. The guy has been on the scene since the 90's, toured the world, major member of Demigodz and Jedi Mind Tricks' Army of the Pharaohs crew and was featured on Linkin Park's side project, Fort Minor as well as toured with them...He also released a 4-disc compilation box set a couple years ago. You should do some more research on artists before writing a final review. This isn't an attack at all, just figured I'd point out some things... Keep up the blog, it's dope though.. PEACE
