It&#039;s worth noting that, since the original outcry, hypem has &quot;adjusted&quot; the rubric, putting into place a different set of rules from front page posts that still favors those with a particular style and posting frequency, yet appears to include more bloggers in the mix.    

They get props for the quick response, I think, and perhaps some props as well for the compromise, though I remain unconvinced that the end result is still &quot;aggregation&quot; in a manner that promotes bloggers equally.  

But the warning is still worth passing along: the fair forums which support a broad playing field are, in the end, still &quot;businesses&quot; looking for a model which will best support their own work.   

As such, we need to be vigilant, and challenge them when they work against us.   Keeping all parties honest, and fighting corporatism and narrowing changes, is the only way to keep the playing field as full and fair as possible.</description>
