Ignore all that, E. The SFA album is the best thing they’ve done in years. Far from their best work, indeed. The problem with SFA fnas is they’re too stoned half to the time to hear the shite production on most of the SFA back catalogue. DD/LY is the best production they’ve had committed to record for the better part of 5 years; don’t let potheads mislead you otherwise.

1. DOOM’s new album was good . . . But not great. And much of it felt reissued, even if they said it wasn’t. I thought it might have been culled from old recording sessions.
2. Jason Lytle was never submitted to my site and I never bought it on my own. Haven’t heard it. Can’t hear everything.
3. St. Vincent is just not my bag.
4. What the heck is Dark Night of the Soul?
