THE BRENT FLOOD-“Katy McCain” (EP)

Posted on August 14th, 2009 by ekko

London’s The Brent Flood is offering a free EP, “Katy McCain,” on their website.  It’s solid, four-man indie pop-rock outfit in the tradition of Interpol, with tight hooks.  A cool thing about the EP is that it seems to build, in terms of creativity and quality, rather than collapse.  Most EPs begin with the best song and peter off, often ending with a remix.  This one gets better as the track numbers increase, and each track gets better on repeat listens.

Good show, Brent Flood!
