WIN BAND OF SKULLS MUSIC AND MERCHANDISE!

Posted on October 3rd, 2009 by ekko

Who loves ya?  I do!  When I reviewed the debut album by Band Of Skulls, I had no idea how much the record would grow on me. It’s one of the strongest debuts of 2009, and I’m happy to offer you a prize pack that “could contain” (I can’t be certain):

Limited First Run 180 Gram vinyl of the album
Autographed art poster
Autographed CD of the album
Autographed limited edition 10″ picture vinyl of “I Know What I Am” and “Blood”
Limited run (1000 made) album art tshirt (winner can pick size)

In case you don’t know how cool they are, check out my review and check out this song, my favorite one from the album:

Impossible

Here’s how to win:

Drop a comment with your vote for best independent (the band must be on a label that is not part of the RIAA, or the album must be self-produced) debut album of 2009 (i.e., the band made their first full-length release this year).  Make sure you include your e-mail addy so I can get in touch with you.

I’ll contact the winner 7 days from today, so watch your e-mails.  If I don’t hear back from you within 24 hours, I reserve the right to pick a new winner.

U.S. Residents Only!

CONTEST CLOSED: CHECK YOUR E-MAIL TO SEE IF YOU ARE THE WINNER!

  1. I’ll say Band of Skullz is the best debut!

  2. You’ve got to check out Alberta Cross and their debut ‘Broken Side of Time’. This is out on independent label ATO. Great rockin’ stuff.

  3. ummh, band of skulls is the best indie debut?

  4. as far as debut albums go i kind of dig fanfarlo’s “reservoir” which came out in february i believe. the first track is pretty good, but i think after the album kind of tapers off… nonetheless pretty solid and i can definitely see this band going places.
