Early Day Miners call themselves a “musical cooperative.” Their core members, Daniel Burton and Rory Leitch (both of Ativin), are based in Indiana and they’ve been playing together for years. They’ve just released their sixth indie pop album, “The Treatment,” on the best American label that isn’t American—Secretly Canadian. SC has become one of the most reliable indie labels out there, and once again they don’t disappoint.
Early Day Miners is pretty darn fun.
